Donation Requests

Shucks Fish House, Bailey’s Breakfast & Absolutely Fresh Seafood Market have made significant contributions over the years to many different charities, organizations, churches and those in need of assistance as a way of giving back to the community who supports us. While we ideally would like to provide assistance to all who ask, sometimes we must make difficult decisions when evaluating all of the requests we receive. In order to help out as many worthy causes as possible, we have created the following guidelines and request form to help with the process.

Donation requests must be specific in what dollar amount they are seeking as well as in what form of assistance to be received. We provide:

Gift Card Donations (Good at all of our locations) – From $30.00 – $50.00

Gift Card Matches – Buy X dollars worth of Gift Cards, and we’ll match that amount as a donation (Some limits apply)

Food/Product Donations – In certain cases, we can provide products to organizations holding dinners, events, etc. We also may consider matching purchased items with donated items for larger events.

As a rule, we generally do not make cash or sponsorship donations.

While we encourage all worthy organizations to apply, the following considerations will be made in the decision making process:

For profit, government/political related organizations, social clubs, national charities, and request from groups/events outside of the immediate Omaha metro area will not be considered.

The frequency of requests from any given organization is considered. Requests will not be granted for any one church, organization, or school more than once a quarter in any given year.

Donation requests must be specific as to how, whom, and what the funds are being used to benefit. Requests that directly benefit the less fortunate, health/crisis benefits, and social programs helping human, disabled individuals, children and animal welfare interests will receive higher consideration.

The amount and type of donation, as well as when it is needed (Minimum 30 day advance notice requested)
